Bare it Out this Summer!

” Hot and humid” this what you would usually hear from people even most visitors coming to the Philippines would say. Indeed, summer could even be hotter but the most awaited season of many. In a tropical country like ours, Philippines, it’s inevitable for us not to bare the most out, wear as short and have the best beach wear! But what and how could you enjoy the most when you don’t have the so called “flawless”skin?. Let me give you these home remedies to treat most you least can put your hands-on like unwanted back acne, crack ankles, dark spots and a lot more.

Salt-014.jpg

Salt is a good remedy for acne formation as it contain bacteria buildup. It dries your skin and removes all the oil at your back. For back acne don’t use table salt rather use sea salt. Usually what you do is mix it with warm water and sea salt in a bottle and you can spray at your back.

Cereal.jpg

Cereals are good for all skin types whether dry, oily or whatever your skin type is. It removes excess oil and exfoliates by removing dead skin cells. Some what they do is they put the cereal cloth and tie it. Soak it with warm water and gently apply it to your skin or if you have a tub , soak for 20-30 mins.

Peppermint leaves contain menthol which has analgesic and an anti-inflammatory effect. Crush the mint leaves with mortar and pestle and it will create this green paste. Leave it on your skin for 10-15 minutes and then rinse.

Baking-soda.jpeg

Baking soda has a balancing effect and acts as an acid and a base. It balances the pH of your skin and thus avoiding bacteria and later on can turn into acne. Just simple mix it with water and leave it for 10 minutes and then rinse.

Aloe vera also has astringent, emollient, antifungal and regenerative properties. It can stop fluid discharge by contraction of blood vessels, make skin soft and smooth, eliminate fungal infection and can lead to regrowth of new cells thus healing wounds. Just cut the aloe vera leaf and there will be a thick cream that will come out just apply it to the affected area.

There are really good alternative and you might try this out. I’ve tried them and really help me in a way but if allergies and unwarranted irritation occurs it would still be best to visit your physician/dermatologist.
